Tampa Criminal Attorney Greg Green

Greg Green was born on January 15, 1974 in Tampa, Florida, and graduated from Chamberlain High School in 1992. Mr. Green received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida, where he was a member of the University of South Florida Chapters of the Golden Key National Honor Society and Phi Beta Kappa.

Mr. Green received his Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law in 1998. While attending the FSU College of Law, Mr. Green was chosen as a certified legal intern for the Hillsborough County State Attorney’s Office. In April of 1999, Mr. Green was admitted into the Florida Bar.

Mr. Green began his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney in Hillsborough County, Florida. In that capacity, he worked his way through the ranks to become a lead trial attorney, handling a wide range of criminal cases from simple traffic offenses to the most serious of cases, including manslaughter.

Mr. Green entered private practice in 2001 at the law firm of Cannella, Breit & Green, specializing in criminal defense law. While in private practice, Mr. Green also handled family law and personal injury cases.

Before joining the law office of Raymond R. Pines & Associates, Mr. Green held a position as a senior attorney with the Office of the Attorney General’s Children’s Legal Services Bureau. In this capacity, Mr. Green was responsible for litigating child abuse and termination of parental rights cases for the Department of Children and Families in Hillsborough County. Mr. Green’s work with the Office of the Attorney General involved family law issues such as child custody, visitation and paternity.

In his ten years of experience, Mr. Green has become a skillful and effective litigator, having tried over 100 jury and non-jury trials. His work in both criminal and civil law enable him to provide exceptional legal representation for his clients.
